Brad Thornton is a Senior Associate with Ground Reconsidered, a licensed professional landscape architect, and LEED Accredited Professional. Brad excels at creating innovative and technically resourceful design solutions to complex site challenges. He is a skilled project manager with an innate design sensibility, and he works collaboratively across disciplines. The breadth of his 18 years of experience includes work on a variety of projects of different scales including parks, plazas, streetscapes, and academic and corporate campus design and masterplans. Brad’s talent and enthusiasm are evident in the quality of his built work and through his mentoring to the firm’s junior staff. Since 2017, he has 

taught landscape architecture as an Adjunct Instructor with University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design. Brad is a guest critic and lecture at Philadelphia-area University’s and have given tours and lectures at conferences including ASLA, Pennsylvania Stormwater Management Symposium and is a past volunteer with the Community Design Collaborative.
